Shelby

The other day Shelby called the boys on their cell phone and while she was talking to Alex, Sydney called me on mine. Sydney said something that broke my heart -

"Today my sissy cried because she misses her stinky boys* so much."

Today I was talking to my SIL and she said Shel woke up with a smile on her face and in a great mood. She told my SIL and brother that she had a dream about her stinky boys and that they are coming to visit her. When they told her that we weren't coming to see her because we had just visited, she got very upset and in her best tear filled 3 year old voice asked when they were coming to visit us in Mississippi.

They were planning to come to visit us in December, but my SIL had to pick up more hours at work because someone is on extended leave until the end of the year (he had a stroke, I think.) Hopefully, they can make in January. If Shelby lasts that long.

If I last that long.

*They call the boys stinky boys because once when we were visiting I said "You guys stink! Get in to the shower!" after they came home sweaty after spending the day doing manly things with my brother. The name has stuck ever since.
